itudes – Free Downloads From God

Hi-tech audio has become an integral part of our fast-paced way of living…ipod, iphone, itunes. Caught up in life’s busyness, I neglect to listen to God’s audio…”a still small voice.” I opened my Bible and found free spiritual downloads for my soul, God’s “itudes.”

=====

Servitude:

“Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalms 100:2

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Romans 12:1

=====

Solitude:

“And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.” Matthew 14:23

“Be still, and know that I am God:” Psalms 46:10

=====

Aptitude:

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3

=====

Altitude:

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…” Isaiah 40:31

“He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.”
2 Samuel 22:34

=====

Attitude:

“A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.” Proverbs 15:13

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7

=====

Plenitude:

“I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” Psalms 13:6

=====

Gratitude:

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4

=====

My life needed a reboot, uploads from the Scripture.

I want to be more dedicated in my Christian example – servitude.
I need more quiet time in prayer – solitude.
I need to study my Bible more, think on God’s Word – aptitude.
I am reminded how God has always lifted me above despair – altitude.
My thoughts and heart reflect in my actions – attitude.
God has kept His promises by providing all my needs – plenitude.
Everyday I want to thank Him for His love and mercy – gratitude.
